Bio
Hi. My name is Meredith Raithel Perry and I have been editing for 14 years in television, narrative feature film, documentary, Internet media, and commercials. Based in Los Angeles for the last 11, I’ve cut for Rabbit Bandini, Maker Studios, The Prime Time Emmy Awards, Young Hollywood, Firecracker Films, Relativity Media, and cut national commercial spots. Best know for my work on The Hacker Wars, available on Netflix, a documentary profiling three American Hacktivists and their controversial criminal cases. My most recent projects include a feature comedy called Camp about a Jewish summer camp starring, Horacio Sans, Annalise Basso, Nolan Gould and the Sklar brothers and Mississippi Requiem, a feature film starring James Franco, Topher Grace and Alicia Witt.
With a background in singing and experimental music, I believe in the importance of sound in film and incorporate it early in the editorial process.
Also a writer and director, I received my MFA in Film Directing from Cal Arts in 2009. Married, I live in Los Angeles.
